Right Hand (Wo)Man

Hey Guys! This is Melissa, Stacy's younger sister and helper with The Castillo Collection launch. When we were all kids, Stacy was introduced to the art of knitting (later crocheting also) and for a little while I used to knit a couple of decently made scarves along with her. I unfortunately fell off the wagon, but Stacy kept on pursuing, wanting to learn more about the craft and always having some ideas for hand-made items for family and friend gifts. She has had the idea of starting her own business for a little while, and I am very proud of her for taking the plunge. 

Stacy and I both have full time jobs, she currently works at Hendrick Medical Center in the Admissions capacity. She has given up countless nights of sleep to finish a beanie or make a last minute scarf for a friend, and we have both stayed up trying to plan our next step for the future of TCC. I currently reside outside of Dallas with my husband, but I am fully invested remotely to helping Stacy with her brand. While my contributions may be small, I do my best to keep Stacy focused on her craft, while I handle the nitty gritty. 

I very much look forward to the next steps TCC will take, especially with someone like Stacy at the helm. Happy Knitting! And crocheting. -Melissa
